Did you know that you're writing your own story right now?

Yup, this is just another chapter in your book. You are metaphorically scribbling away and you get to decide what comes next. Some people don't realize they are both the main character and the authors of their stories.

Many of us carry memories that can be pretty painful when reminded of them. Whether heartbreaking, anger-inducing or cringe, as Gen-Z says, these memories are more than facts or images. They carry powerful emotions from past experiences that your body remembers - sometimes reverting you back to the feelings you experienced during that chapter of your book.

Through narrative therapy, you and your therapist can explore ways of making sense of your story and better understand how it has comprised your identity. Our past chapters have already been written by us with collaboration from others, although not always by choice. What lessons can you take with you moving forward?
